Join Captain Dennis in the Antarctic Peninsula, February 16 to March 5, 2019

We are pleased to announce that Captain Dennis Rogers and a group of Alaska Sea Adventure travelers will be joining Cheeseman’s Ecology Safaris on their February 2018 cruise, “Antarctic Peninsula: Whales, Penguins and Landscapes Expedition.”

For more than 35 years, Cheeseman’s, which is family owned and operated, has designed and led nature tours to the world’s most ecologically diverse regions, emphasizing wildlife watching and photography with one simple goal in mind—to create life change experiences.

The Antarctic Peninsula trip, which they have been offering for 25 years, is a 100-passenger cruise that will include a diverse and wonderfully experienced expedition team to show the best of the Antarctica, improve photography skills and enlighten travelers to the great stories and wonders of the Antarctic Peninsula. A core team of researchers and scientists, also on board, will open the door for you to participate in science during the trip. While sailing, we will find some of the best whale feeding grounds in the midst of the Antarctic’s most stunning landscapes. Stunning seasonal light, Humpback whales, minke whales, orcas, penguins and seal colonies will add to the splendor and wonder of the travels in such an awe inspiring location.
